This is one of my favorite flowers in our yard. The bloom is as big around as a baseball and grows about hip high. The weather has been so cool lately that they have stayed around a little longer than usual. I'm glad I took these pictures last weekend because the little blossoms were almost gone today. Can you tell that the bees love them too?

I'm so glad to know what these are called now! I saw some at Gardner Village yesterday and Kate and I both loved them. So pretty!
Hey, there are bees on the closeup pictures! I'd trade those bees for the wasps in our yard!
Oh, we have wasps too!
