Tigers take state!

went to the 3A championship game between the hurricane tigers and the desert hills thunder on friday night. it was a great game despite all the snow.

we all tried our best to stay warm and dry.
i think elizabeth was having the most fun out of all of us.

austin did a great job,

that's him (66) just exiting the field.

after much excitement the tigers won 21 to zip. forth time's the charm, i guess.


you can't tell in this shot, but the trophy was covered in plastic to protect it from the snow. that made me smile.

the players made snow angels (but were done before I could get my phone back out--i still tried to capture it),

and then ran to gather together as a team to . . . pray maybe? not sure, we'll have to ask austin.

go TIGERS!  

glad i got to see everyone.  

time to make my frozen feet (seriously can't believe i didn't wear my snow boots) walk to my car.  good times! :)
