We left Juneau in the early afternoon to head north and cruise up the Endicott Arm. We were scheduled to cruise up the Tracy Arm but Captain Lars announced that there was too much ice up there and that we would go up Endicott instead. It was a perfect opportunity to bundle up and sit on the balcony and enjoy the sail up close to the shore. It was really chilly, but so worth watching it go by. It was also a little overcast and foggy so it gave it an even more surreal feeling.
Our first iceberg sighting, definitely not to be our last.

Lots more wildlife to see along the way . . . . . those little dots are eagles hanging out on the iceberg.

More fluke flapp'n fun . . . .

Time to start heading up the arm.
The icebergs are becoming more and more frequent.
Surely we're not going in there? . . .
Look at the size of these icebergs! Haven't they seen Titanic? . . . Maybe we'll turn around here? . . .
Nope, we're going in! . . .
And the icebergs are getting even bigger and bigger! . . . .
Ahh, finally! Endicott Glacier.
It's so beautiful. It was worth the scary ride through the icebergs.

These lucky devils got to see it up close, really close.
I guess we'll let them back on anyway.
After a quick patrol for icebergs around the ship, we turn around and head back out. What. A. Ride!
See you in Skagway, bright and early.
